FAQ & troubleshooting

Why does PlowR ask for Always location?

So it can record when you arrive at and leave each stop, and offer the next client's text, even with the app closed. With While Using, times are only recorded while PlowR is on screen.

What happens if my Pro subscription ends?

Nothing is deleted. With 10 or fewer active clients you're back on the free tier. With more, PlowR is read only: you can still view, export and record payments, and subscribing again unlocks everything.

I hit the 10-client limit

Clients you mark inactive don't count. Or try PlowR Pro for unlimited clients and routes.

My data isn't on my other device

Check both devices are signed in to the same Apple ID with iCloud on for PlowR. Settings → Data & Backup shows whether iCloud is working.

Can a client use PlowR too?

Yes. Choosing "I'm looking for services" lets people find businesses near them and request work.
